Romance.

Alas, isn't that just the attention grabber. Well, it's what's been on my mind today so call me interesting...

Anyway, so today I walked into a place and saw this gorgeous person. And then I remembered I've seen this person before...in my dreams. And at a little gathering around a year ago. But...here's the story...

There once was a girl,
And there once was a boy.
The girl loved him deeply,
He couldn't tell.
She secretly wished that he loved her as well.
But she didn't hope too hard for that,
Because she knew that fairy tales hardly ever come true.
But that didn't keep her,
From dreaming.

Well, that's the story.

Anyway, he talked to me. And for the first time in a long time, I felt a form of happiness. It was a giddy, five-year-old-with-ice-cream happy. And I couldn't stop smiling...and neither could he, though his was probably for a different reason. But - no matter. Happiness is happiness, after all.

But, what is the deal with romance? Does it only come to those who don't actually deserve it? I've known many a good person who never got what they really, truly deserved and the people who never wanted commitment get exactly what they shouldn't have. They say all is fair in love and war, but it's not. Love goes to those who are the "fairest in the land" or the ones that don't deserve it. It seems that the good people have to work so much harder for real love and it usually never, ever works out. It's just the way it works most of the time.

I promise, I am no pessimist. I like to call myself realistic, actually. But, sometimes reality just isn't all it's cracked out to be, I suppose.

For the love of all humanity, spread the peace. But, don't be a hippie...society frowns on those who are individual.

An Introduction {of sorts}

I'm not sure if there is anything I despise more than introductions. It is the awkward time in which an author introduces facts about themselves and sets a reason to an action. I believe that people should be able to pick these things up from a writer...not a list of frivolous things that an author thinks of on the spot. So pardon me if you were expecting a grand, meaningful introduction to my life. You will not be getting one so - in my opinion - you should get over it or move on to the next blog out there.

Because of the strange, bizarre world that we reside in, I am merely an anonymous person sharing thoughts on a life in which this person carries out. Since I am one of the world's biggest Harry Potter fans, I shall now be known as R.A.B the mysterious, deep person who shares every thought that crosses their mind.

Since I'm not going to dedicate a post to solely "introducing" myself, I will post a should-have-been-epiphany that I experienced today.

As I was at an award ceremony for my writing abilities, I did not win. At that moment a thought crossed my mind....

"You can't always get what you want...but you always get what you need."

But, of course, that thought got blocked out by the fact that...well, I didn't win. But, maybe that tidbit will give somebody else a "WOW" moment...anyway, I guess this is all.

Regards,
R.A.B
